  • Settlement of $860,000 was obtained for a man killed in a motor vehicle accident when he was struck by a truck while  travelling on Route 84 in Fishkill.  A recovery of $100,000 was part of the settlement to compensate the man's son, who was a passenger in the vehicle and who suffered a fractured leg.
  • A settlement was obtained on behalf of a driver who failed to obey a stop sign and was killed was settled for $350,000 after it was shown that the defendant driver failed to take the necessary evasive action as required by law to avoid the accident.
  • $150,000.00 settlement for a 55 year-old woman who stepped in a depression in a parking lot causing her to fall and fracture her elbow.  The client did not require surgery and the case settled before trial.
  • $150,000.00 for a 50 year-old man involved in a motor vehicle accident which resulted in an aggravation of a preexisting hip problem that required surgery.  The client returned to work full time for the railroad.
  • $480,000.00 settlement for a client who was involved in a light-impact motor vehicle accident and sustained an aggravation of a pre-existing neck injury.  The client continued to work after the accident, but eventually required  surgery.
  • $160,000.00 settlement for a man involved in a motor vehicle accident that exacerbated a pre-existing arthritic condition, the client had been deemed disabled for an unrelated injury approximately 20 years before the accident and eventually had neck surgery.
  • $750,000 settlement of a labor law case for a worker who fell from a scaffold.
